Australia reopens the door for fully vaccinated internationals students from December 1st. The international students who got the currently accepted vaccines will be eligible to enter Australia without having to apply for a travel exemptions.

“Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced from December 1, 2021, fully vaccinated eligible visa holders can come to Australia without needing to apply for travel exemption. Eligible visa holders will include skilled migrants, international students, holidaymaker as well as provisional family visa holders”.
Currently, the vaccines like AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Sinovac/Coronavac, Jansen, Covaxin, Sinopharm etc are accepted in Australia.

The authorities of different universities and educational consultancies welcomed this news widely. According to data, around 160,000 students were locked out during the more than 18-month long international border closure.
